A couple CVS freebies

The big red box was very kind to me today :)

I scanned my card and got:
1 Free Pack of Carefree Panty Liners
1 Free Caramello Candy Bar
1 Free Box of CVS Fabric Band Aids
$.50 off a Bag Tag

I was able to snag all of this for just $.37 plus tax! ( I got some overage on the panty liners)

So not finding the G2 products wasn't such a bust and I will finally be getting credit for using my reusable bags!

Ajax a steal at CVS!

I caught the CVS 7-10 ad preview ( BIG Thank You to the girls in the CVS forum at WUC!) in the middle of last week and saw Ajax 16oz dish soap would be on sale for $.88 limit 5!
That in itself is a great deal. After searching the coupon data base I saw that there was a $1.00/ any 2 Ajax, Dynamo, ETC coupon out there, which would make each bottle just $.38! Which in CA is unheard of. I was able to swap for the Ajax coupons as they were regional and we unfortunately did not get them here.
So this morning I run out to CVS bright and early to make sure I am able to grab what I need before it's all gone. I walk up tot the shelf and notice that the Ajax bottles are marked $.77 and no limit in the ad!!! Making them just $.27 a bottle!!!
I was able to buy all 20 bottles so I could use all of my coupons
(I did not clear the shelf. Not even by a long shot)

My transaction:
20 bottles of Ajax Soap $.77 = $15.40
1 case of water $2.40 + CRV= $3.60
2 bottles of carbonated ArrowHead Water +CRV =$2.08
1 bottle of Vitaminwater + CRV (filler)= $1.05
Total= 20.83

I used:
10 x $1.00/2 Any Ajax Q
$4 off $20 purchase CVS Q
BOGOF Arrowhead water Q

Total $5.83 W/ CRV!
$4.49 without!

What a steal!
Esp since the best deal I have found on dish soap since I started is $.75 for 1 10oz Dawn.

My CVS Gas Card Deal

I never thought about taking advantage of the gas card deal that CVS has each week. After browsing the ad preview on WUC I thought I could do this!
I worked up this deal:

Gas Card Deal Items:
- 2x 8 pack Bounty Basic paper towels
- 4x Pantene products
- 10oz Dawn dish soap
- 9.9oz Pretzel M&Ms
- Snickers Bar

Other deals:

Total OOP: $19.21

I got back:
- $10 Arco Gas Card
- $2 ECB

So my total was $7.21 w/ tax $4.41 w/o tax!

My total savings at CVS was $41.67!

I am really excited and pumped to start taking advantage of all the gas card deals from here on out! I mean I can always use a gas gift card and I don't mind all the "free" stuff either.

Quick CVS Trip

Because of a mess up on the part of the LA Times I only got 1 SS last Sunday, leaving me with only 1 of that awesome $5 off John Frieda Full Repair coupon. Because of that I couldn't take advantage of the awesome Target deal. I sat down and tried to figure out the best way for me to use that high value coupon and get the most for my money.

After browsing the ads I found CVS has John Frieda Full Repair Shampoo and Conditioner on sale for $5.00 each and $3.00 ECB when you buy $10 worth. (6/5/2011 - 6-11-2011) After my trip yesterday I also had a $5 off $15 purchase coupon that printed with my ECB. I knew I could make this work my advantage. I just had to find a couple additional items that brought my total closest to $15 as possible without being under.

So with coupons in hand I headed to CVS and this was the deal:

I bought:

1 JF Full Repair Conditioner $5

1 JF Brilliant Brunette Daily Shampoo $5

2 Colgate Max Foam Tooth Pastes $2.79 each

I then recieved:

$3.00 ECB from purchase of John Frieda products

$4.00 ECB for purchase of Colgate toothpastes
